I grew up not actually hating the rain but loving it instead. I used to dance in the rain. It’s one of the biggest pleasure I can always have. One thing that my cousins envy about me. But I’m afraid of thunder. That’s the only thing that stops me from playing under it. I always wanted to dance like nobody’s watching or like the music will never end. But once I hear the thunder, I’ll immediately run and hide to my safest haven. Put my earphones on, ignore the world and act as if I’m not hearing anything. Even now that I’ve grown up, I still have that love for rain and fear of thunder. And I envy those who’s not afraid of anything, dancing and laughing their hearts out while making the rain as their playground. I’ve always believed that I can do anything. I grew up believing that I’m a fighter. But I hide on the slightest thunder I can hear. Maybe someday… someday I’ll be able to dance under the rain without being afraid of thunder.
